Welcome to the new online home for Cherry
Valley's Cherryfest
Cherryfest is an annual celebration held every
year in Cherry Valley, Arkansas. During this one time of
the year, the whole community can come together to have fun and
benefit a good cause at the same time. Every year, the
proceeds of the Cherryfest go back to the community to service
parts of the town, such as the City Park, where the event is
held every year.
The annual Cherryfest is always held on the last Saturday in
September, and it is always great to see just what this small
town in Arkansas can get accomplished. The event starts
early in the morning with a parade down from the City Park to
Cherry Valley Elementary School. It is always fun to sit
back and watch the cars goes by, and the children run for as
much candy as possible. After the parade, everyone heads
over to the city park for all-day long events. From
inflatable games to live music, there is always something for
everyone. Later in the afternoon, many people pack up and
head home for that mid-afternoon nap, then come back later that
night for the street dance.
So this year, as we kick off the 19th annual Cherryfest, we hope
to see you there!
